The Old BookThe book crackles as I open the worn spine. Ravaged  By the damp and the sun, it is a weathered old man,  Worn to the bone. The words, though, they are as clear as  A moonlit night, that, though it is a dark tale, the  
World is as plain and pure as the prose. The dandelion  Yellow cover, smooth but warped, is embossed with  A little terrier puppy, an ageless sentry daring time  To take its course on the book. She is impressive, a  Stout, bold figure carved into the cardboard.   
This book is not a path to enlightenment but  
A training ground, teaching me how to write. Then  It is t The Old Book

EurekaHave you ever done yoga on a mountain top?  A view so beautiful, it'll make your heart stop.  Then descended down to a small round lake?  It's something for which I would put my life at stake.   
Picture this; you and fourteen other friends –  
Those of whom you would follow until the end,  Taking a trip, a voyage, into the untamed,  And for six days, you won't be seen again.   
No stereotypes here, save for the brave.  All here to have fun, it's what my heart craves.  As I ponder and think, about our snaking path,  Slithering to where, a clue we haven't hath.

Mayhap it will listen to me  As i talk, or just catch some z's  As cats tend to do. And after it's nap  As i stroke it's fur, it begins to--  But wait, you can't purr!   
Oh no! Someone help!  This metaphor's running astray!  Even worse, the similes are entering the fray!  Like fire they come, quick as lightning!  Now no one can stop them from this fighting!
